Friendly Inn Of Comedy
It would have been nice to review Zane's act, but the night we saw him he opted to perform absolutely no material at all, spending his entire time in a fruitless dialogue with a heckler who caught the attention of an earlier comic. If this is typical, he needs to learn the discipline of playing to the whole room and not allow some smart-arse to lead him into a frustrating comedy cul-de-sac.

Show - Edinburgh Fringe 2002 -
Has become a Russell Brand wannabee but without the edge.
This one has the heady whiff of privilege about him. Zane has all the talent of a clothes horse but isn't as useful
The dude rocked on Balls of Steel. And he is cute.
He's never been a good stand-up or presenter. Totally exposed on 8 out of 10 Cats, Alex Zane needs to be removed from our screens for good.
I think he should come up with some material. Everything I've ever heard him say is derivative of another comedianís material.
Please can someone stop this hopeless chancer getting on the stage? MC - Hopeless. Act - Dunno, never seen him do any actual jokes.
Alex is sweet and funny. He has an innocent sort of humour and a face that just makes you want to breastfeed him!
