Win a theatre break to see Jennifer Saunders on stage

In Lady Windermere's Fan at the Vaudeville Theatre, London

Jennifer Saunders returned to TV this Christmas to mark ’300 years’ of her partnership with Dawn French.

And now's your chance to win a theatre break to see her on the London stage, where she is starring in Lady Windermere's Fan.

She is making her return to the West for the first time in more than 20 years in Oscar Wilde’s comedy, where she appears alongside comedy actors Kevin Bishop, from the rebooted Porridge, and Samantha Spiro, from Grandma’s House.

The new production is directed by Kathy Burke, and staged by Classic Spring, a new theatre company formed by Dominic Dromgoole, the former artistic director of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.

The comedy is set on the day of Lady Windermere’s birthday party, when her friend Lord Darlington plants a seed of suspicion. Is her husband having an affair? And will the other woman really attend the party?

Lady Windermere’s Fan is playing at the Vaudeville Theatre from January 12 to April 7. More information and tickets, priced from £19.50, are available from 0330 333 4814 or online here.

But one Chortle reader will win a pair of premium tickets plus an overnight stay in a minimum three-star hotel.

To stand a chance of winning answer the following question by 5pm on January 8, after which we will select the winner at random from all correct answers received.

Good luck!

Usual terms and conditions apply. In addition, the tickets will be valid for Monday to Friday performances until March 29, subject to availability. There is no cash alternative. Travel is not included.
